Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team, responsible for creating and restoring upholstered furniture and other items. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to work with various materials. This role requires creativity and technical skill to ensure high-quality finishes that meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and sew fabric according to specifications.
Repair or replace damaged upholstery on furniture, including chairs, sofas, and cushions.
Select appropriate materials based on durability and aesthetics.
Assemble furniture components and ensure structural integrity.
Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project requirements.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety protocols while working in the workshop.

Experience

Previous experience as an Upholsterer or in a related field is mandatory.
Knowledge of various upholstery techniques and materials.
Familiarity with tools used in upholstery work.
Skills in Quantum engineering or Animal physiology are considered a plus but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
