Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in servicing equipment. This role requires proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks. The Technician will work closely with customers to ensure their needs are met, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of quality.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and machinery.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and repair components.
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during the assembly or repair processes.
- Document all service activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within a dealership or mechanical environment.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
