Job Description:
Walnut Ridge Family RV Sales is looking for a dependable and motivated Lot Porter to join our team. This position plays a key role in preparing RVs for customer delivery and showroom display. You’ll assist with moving units, cleaning both the interior and exterior, and operating a forklift to help organize inventory and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move, park, and organize RVs across the lot and service areas
- Operate a forklift to position trailers, unload shipments, and manage supplies
- Clean interiors of RVs: vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash
- Clean exteriors: wash sidewalls, windows, awnings, and slide outs
- Prepare units for customer delivery and showroom display
- Maintain lot organization and cleanliness
- Assist the sales and service team with unit staging and relocations
- Perform basic exterior checks such as tire pressure and battery condition
- Follow all dealership safety standards and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating a forklift (or willingness to be certified)
- Ability to maneuver large vehicles and trailers safely (training available)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to take initiative
Schedule:
- Full-time, includes some Saturdays as needed.
