Seeking an ambitious person to join our Irwin team. Assisting with unload trailers, work with general laborers, maintenance and prep work for customers, run errands, and make customer deliveries. Job Duties
The job duties of a trailer mechanic vary. Some tasks require little skills and can be learned quickly; while other tasks require some experience or training. They may include unloading and assembly of utility trailers, unloading parts and materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as tractors, forklifts, impacts, torque wrenches, tire changer, gantry crane, etc. Mechanics are responsible for ensuring customer trailers are equipped with the proper parts and assembly of utility trailers. They help technicians with tasks that require a hand, such as lifting gates or ramps, installing a winch. They are responsible for maintaining all vehicle, tractor, and other company own equipment.
Requirements
Trailer mechanics must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Mechanics must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential. Some tools and machines are computerized, requiring technical knowledge to use.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must be a team player and work well with others.
Reliable. Show up to work regularly and on time.
Effective listening skills.
Must be able to multi-task and work in a changing atmosphere.
Enthusiastic personality.
Ability to lift 50lbs or more, and some climbing may be required.
Must have a current driver's license and the ability to obtain a medical card.
Open Monday-Saturday. Saturday hours are required during busy season.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
