Airstream Charlotte is seeking experienced RV Service Technicians in the south Charlotte metro area to service the most iconic RV product on the market today. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience in RV repair and diagnostics. Experience with the Airstream brand is an enormous plus.

We are now building a brand new, state of the art facility with double garaged bays and climate control in a park-like setting and are preparing now for its grand opening next year. QUALITIES
- Must have previous experience as a Technician at RV dealership.
- RVIA certification is ideal
- Experience with Airstream a huge plus
- Well-versed in maintenance and repair
- Strong attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency with basic tools, power drills, saws, impact tools, etc
- Ability to use computer, tablet and smartphone
- Good Reliable transportation to and from work
- Driver's license with a good clean record
- Ability to drive large RV vehicles and tow/move large trailers
- Forklift experience preferred
- Physical ability to perform the job and the ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- A strong moral compass
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
- Discuss problems with clients and examining RV to determine nature of problem
- Present job cost estimates and parts replacement needs/suggestions
- Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical, and electronic problems and performs necessary adjustment, repair, or overhaul
- Complete repairs to water and sewage plumbing, propane gas lines, and electrical wiring as needed
- Remove damaged exterior panels, repair and replaces structural frame pieces
- Attend all meetings, training, and educational classes, as required
- Perform solar panel and battery system installation
- Repair HVAC as well as AC and heating with propane and heat pumps
- Perform Axle/wheel bearing service, install/inspect brakes, Mount / balance tires
- Install lift kits and hitches
- Cabinetry / carpentry (aligning cabinets, predrilling for hinges and installing, cutting and installing trim, etc)
- Repair LP gas systems for water heater, refrigerator, furnace and stove
- Repairing and installing awnings
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Ensure that final work product meets quality standards

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
