This will be a hybrid inside/outside sales position. The successful candidate will start off exclusively with inside duties while the product offerings and processes are learned. The goal will be to drive sales of existing and new accounts through coordinated efforts with management.
This branch services the entire state of Connecticut with many established customers, but there is lots of room for growth as well which makes this a highly desirable opportunity!
Reliable transportation and license is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with inside sales processes including but not limited to answering inbound phone calls, helping retail or will call customers, inventory management, etc.
- Provide coverage when branch manager is out
- Develop sales plan for existing and new customers.
- Present products / specials to enhance customer sales.
- Grow territory by searching for other industries or specialty shops to sell to.
- Pre-plan daily activities to allow for effective and efficient sales calls.
- Supply weekly call reports to management for outside sales calls
- Provide product training to customers.

Qualifications
- Proven negotiation and customer service skills
- Experience in sales and business development
- Professional phone and in person demeanor
- Strong account management and B2B sales background
- Proficiency in truck equipment and accessories a plus
- Ability to conduct cold calling and product demos
- Valid driver's license and vehicle required for travel to client locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
