Required RV repairs experience of 2 years minimum. Must have a valid driver's license. Knowledge of 110, 12V, plumbing, heating and carpentry are preferred. We are a non-flat rate service department. We are looking for technicians that are detailed, performing quality repairs in an efficient timeframe.
Here are some key aspects of the role of an RV Service Technician:
- Inspections and Diagnostics:
- Conducting thorough inspections of RV systems and components.
- Identifying and diagnosing issues with electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, and other onboard systems.
- Routine Maintenance:
- Performing regular maintenance tasks such as pack wheel bearings and brake inspections.
- Checking and servicing generators, air conditioning units, and other appliances.
- Repairs:
- Repairing and replacing faulty or damaged components.
- Addressing issues with the RV's chassis, suspension, and braking systems.
- Electrical and Plumbing Work:
- Troubleshooting and fixing electrical problems.
- Repairing plumbing issues, including leaks and water system components.
- Appliance Service:
- Repairing and maintaining RV-specific appliances, such as refrigerators, stoves, and water heaters.
- Customer Interaction:
- Communicating with RV owners to understand their concerns and providing explanations of necessary repairs.
- Offering advice on maintenance and best practices for RV care.
- Upgrades and Installations:
- Installing new components or accessories, such as solar panels, satellite systems, or upgraded entertainment systems.
- Documentation:
- Keeping detailed records of inspections, diagnostics, and repairs performed.
- Providing customers with documentation of services rendered.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
